Overview

Reporting to the Manager-Materiels, responsibilities of the Supervisor-Materiels include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the orderly and efficient operations of the stock room.  Supervises and directs the activities of personnel assigned, and ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Coordinates with Order Processor Senior for rotable parts reallocation or expedite requirements to support spare available at assigned store.
  • Monitors all associated paperwork to ensure it is processed accurately and timely.
  • Investigates and reports all disruptions to daily operations occurring in stores to Spares Manager.  Provide feedback to MCC, Maintenance Supervisor on follow-up AOG parts.
  • Ensures monthly cycle counts on rotable/expendable inventory are completed.
  • Assists Accounts Payable department in the validation of discrepancies associated with invoices for price, quantity and good receipt.
  • Ensures proper training requirements are met on all Stock Assistant Seniors and Stock Assistants.
  • Enforces requirements for turnover log for store personnel daily to ensure compliance IAW SP 715.
  • Ensures compliance requirement of stock room inspection and performs the monthly internal audit of store.
  • All specific job functions as outlined in associated Materiel SP’s.
  • Assists with the management of setting default bins at assigned store location.
  • Assists Procurement or receiving team members with parts that require obtaining RMA for return to vendor.
  • Manages the requisition management process for assigned store to ensure parts are reallocated as required.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Manager-Materiels.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in various computer programs; excel, word, power point.
  • Two years of lead or supervisory experience.
  • Two years of general aviation parts experience.
  • Airline travel may be required on a regular basis.
  • Forklift certification may be required.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of MROS.
